Research on Horizontal Well Fiber Sand Fracturing Technology in Western Sichuan and its Application

Abstract: Such issues exist in conventional fracturing process as proppant backflow and not ideal proppant paving effect. Flowback efficiency of the western Sichuan gas field after horizontal well fracturing is low and proppant backflow phenomenon is serious. In order to increase the flowback efficiency,improve fracture diverting capacity,prevent backflow of the proppant and improve proppant paving effect and fracturing reconstruction effect,developed was a biodegradable fiber and a matching fiber degradation reagent and formed was a biodegradable fiber material system. Applied was the biodegradable fiber material system in fiber and sand horizontal well fracturing process of the western Sichuan gas field and flowback speed after fracturing has been increased,proppant backflow has been reduced and  fracturing effect has been improved effectively.
