Study on Calculation Method and process of Boil of Gas in Liquefied Natural Gas

Abstract:Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) as new type of fuel of cars has been widely used due to atmospheric environment issues. So the LNG Plants are under construction in many parts of China. A lots of BOG will be generated from the storage and production of LNG. It has important influence to reduce energy consumption and to improve economic efficiency calculating the amount of BOG accurately and using optimal process to recover it. In the paper, applies are theory analysis method and project experience combined with process flow of LNG Plant to analyze generation principle of BOG and to discuss handling process of BOG in LNG Plant. This paper presents a systematic method for calculating the BOG generated from the storage and production of LNG in LNG Plants.
